Best In Show

From 60+ shows over four days, the one band we had to see twice at SXSW was Lucius. Among a slate of surprising reunions (The Specials, The Zombies), a strong psychedelic revival (Foxygen, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Jacco Gardner), and an astonishing number of beards per capita, there were endless discoveries among the over 1000 artists at SXSW this year. Among the many runners-up were Sinkane, Terakaft, Delicate Steve, La Chiva Gantiva, The Staves, Rhye, BOY, Sean Rowe, Dana Falconberry, The Polyphonic Spree, Foxygen, Dawes, Alpine, Lord Huron, and of course The Specials.
