As a promotion for Dave Eggers’ 826NYC, we conceived and produced a benefit album that commissioned Andrew Bird, DeVotchKa, Martha Wainwright, Nada Surf, and others. Higher awareness for 826 came through raves at Pitchfork, Paste, the influential KCRW, XM Satellite Radio, and others. Half the tracks were produced and recorded in our NYC studios.
